“I don’t remember the exact time that my path first crossed with Tim Grady’s, but what we had in common at the time was thinking Andrew Yang’s brainchild (The Forward Party) was the answer to the toxic division created by the two party system, and both of us being determined to make it happen in Ohio.  I wish it worked and no one devoted more time to trying than Tim Grady. Since Tim is soft spoken and mild mannered it took me a while to realize how smart and brave he is; certainly a dangerous combination in Ohio politics. It should not be lost to any of us that those in the Statehouse need us to be dumb and are threatened by those that really know what is going on and are not afraid to speak truth to power.

 “Tim has an uncanny ability to listen quietly while others are talking and to not weigh in until he’s considered what was said. Don’t mistake that for somehow being “less than” because Tim is definitely “more than”.

“He is incredibly well informed on our political system in Ohio and has specific ideas for repairing it. He is irreverent, self deprecating and able to change his mind when presented with new information and perspective. He colors outside the lines.  When he disagrees with you, he is unafraid to make his case and is somehow able to do so without involving egos-his or yours. Perhaps most important is something he said to me last time we talked when I said, ‘you know, politicians just seem to like to hear themselves talk. His response? ‘Oh, I hate to hear myself talk, I’d much rather listen’.”
